Lapland is a picturesque region with lots of small towns amidst an impressive scenery. Every year in wintertime it changes into the most beautiful and biggest ski resort. Lot's of skier's and snowboarder's meet here.

Gällivare is situated in Swedish Lapland, is about 100 km above the Arctic Circle. Gällivare has 9 000 inhabitants and serves mainly as a transportation hub for the iron ore railway Luleå-Gällivare-Kiruna-Narvik, as the endpoint of the Inland Railway and a waypoint on the European route E 45 (Inlandsvägen) and the E 10 with the corresponding bus lines.

Gällivare is also the starting point for visits to the some of the most magnificent Swedish National Parks; Muddus, Sarek, Padjelanta and Stora Sjöfallet.

Wonderful slopes under deep blue sky enable ski-runs in the deep powder snow within a breathtaking scenery, not to forget is the possibility to experience aurora borealis!
