Fun Fest Announces Sunset Series Entertainers:
The Fray to Close Fun Fest





Kingsport, TN- Fun Fest 2016 (July 15th-23rd) is proud to announce the entertainers for the 2016 Sunset Concert Series. Newsboys will kick off the series on Thursday, July 21st followed by Charlie Daniels Band on Friday, July 22nd. The festival finale will be The Fray on Saturday, July 23rd.



Thursday night’s Contemporary Christian Concert will open up with Crowder. As the David Crowder Band has now put a period at the end of its sentence, a new chapter is emerging for front-man, David Crowder. As the next paragraph begins, David Crowder will take the stage performing with his new collective, simply called, Crowder. Fans can expect more of what they've always loved about Crowder through the years - the songs, the worship, musical innovation - and now they get to be a part of the new beginning. Crowder’s debut album, Neon Steeple, was released in May 2014 with the Neon Steeple tour launching alongside it.



The headliner for this year’s Contemporary Christian Concert is Newsboys. If you were to draw up a blueprint for a successful music career, the final plans couldn’t help but resemble Newsboys’ trajectory. They’ve defined Christian music for more than two decades, only to blow up expectations as they’ve recreated themselves again and again.
