The most international hot-air balloon gathering in Europe has been held in the heart of Lorraine's Nature Parc since 1989 (and on the aerodrome at Chambley since 1993)
This event is held every other year for 10 days.

Easy... (26 June 2015)

Want to enjoy real French "c'est la vie" then come to Lorraine. Easy flying, lots of space for take of and landing. Don't miss it in 2015

fantastic and easy area to crew (19 June 2015)

Very easy for crew to chase because it is a lot oof open space and many roads. 4x4 is good to have because sometimes you need to drive into a field. I like the Lorraine area very much to chase and also for the food ;-)

Very relaxed and easy to fly meeting (16 May 2015)

This is the most relaxed balloon meeting I know. Anyone can take it easy and there is lots of space for take off and landings. To refill propane used to be a pain a few years back but now it is just very easy as all the rest. Come, fly and enjoy ballooning.
