8. Paestum Balloon Festival

In October returns the balloon meeting of Paestum, the biggest event aerostatico in the South of Italy, 30 hot air balloons from all over Europe! An opportunity for every one to see balloons up close without having to face long journeys. This meeting has become famous for the spectacular take-offs at the foot of the Greek-Roman temples. In flight you can admire the coast to the west and the Apennines to the east, on a clear day you can see the island of Capri. A spectacular event not to be missed.
